All of our programs and services are provided through community goodwill and financial donations. We are grateful for the financial support of our community.

Social Outings

Various social outings throughout the year from picnics, to tourism, to cultural opportunities for those that might otherwise not afford the experience.

The Intentional Journey Program

Providing shelter, life skills and future stability planning which may include housing, employment, counselling, training, etc.

Note: This program will resume in the Fall of 2019.

Overcomers Program

This 12-step transformational program runs in 6 month periods in a small group setting. Numerous groups running throughout the city. Sign up required. $20 Fee.

Hot Lunch Program

Offering daily lunches from Tuesday to Thursday.

12 - 1pm, $1 Fee.

Prison Visits

A small group session held at the Elgin Middlesex Detention Centre for inmates every Thursday morning.

Urban Art Studio

Drop-in art program every Wednesday morning.

Afternoon Cafe

Daily Community Cafe

1pm - 3pm

Food Grow Garden Education

Food security and sustainability training. Healthy cooking and gardening education.

FREE.

Computer Lab

Small group basic computer literacy skills.

FREE.

Urban Chat

Peer-to-peer conversation on the things that matter in everyday life.

Social Justice Support

Advocacy and social justice for those that need assistance in accessing services.

FREE.

Hair and Foot Care

Monthly basic hair cut service and foot care.

$5 Fee.

Shop Wise Training Program

Money management and life skills mentorship program.

FREE.

Emergency Housing Support

Housing support for families in need for a limited time period as an interim solution until permanent housing found.

Urban Flix

A weekly afternoon in-house movie with coffee and tea provided.
